  32. Download the archive file(s) and extract using SparkPlug 2
  33. (see the "tools_help" file in micros/arch/riscos/tools for further info).

  38. Since RISC OS 3.6 Acorn supplies the Spriteextend module with JPEG
  39. support, but only a few applications take care of this. Also ChangeFSI
  40. do not use the advantages of this SWI calls. In reason that only a few
  41. applications support JPEG loading I wrote this application for easy
  42. converting from JPEG to a old type 8 Bit Sprite file.  New in version 2:
  43. the colour depth of the converted Sprite can now be chosen.

  45. Requirements

  47. You need a copy of Acorns Toolbox libary and Acorns Spriteextend module
  48. 0.99 or higher. If you have a newer RiscOS version this is implemented
  49. in the operating system. You can get this extension from Acorns
  50. Internet server or some PD libarys. Most of the users should have this
  51. extensions so I do not include this here.
